Conor McGregor has appeared in the witness box for a second straight day to deny accusations of rape made in a civil court

A paramedic has told a court hearing a civil suit brought by a woman accusing Conor McGregor of raping her in a hotel room that she was found with significant injuries.

Ms Hand, who has no automatic right to anonymity, has accused Mr McGregor of pinning her to a bed and raping her in a hotel bedroom in south Dublin. The court was told that Mr McGregor read out a pre-prepared statement to gardaí when he was questioned about the alleged rape on January 17th, 2019.
